The Regional Center is located at the Crossroads of the Revolution and on the road most traveled from New York to Philadelphia.

Somerset County Courthouse Green is composed of three main structures, the Court House, the Lord Memorial Fountain, and the First Dutch Reformed Church.


The Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission administers programs and services that preserve, promote & protect the culture & heritage of Somerset County.

The Somerville Fireman’s Museum showcases antique fire-fighting equipment and numerous pictures and citations showing the evolution of the Somerville Fire Department.


Daniel Robert House – Somerville Borough Hall was constructed in 1888 inn the Gothic Revival style and retains most of its original detailing.

General John Frelinghuysen House was the homestead of the Frelinghuysen family, which has long been significant in New Jersey history.

Van Horne House was the site of numerous important events during the Revolutionary War including a portion of the fighting during the Battle of Bound Brook. It was used at various times by Generals Lincoln, Stirling, Lee and Cornwallis.
